The Fertilizer Grain Ratio

How is the Fertilizer Grain Program Ratio Calculated?

The Fertilizer Grain Program ratio is calculated by comparing the number of bushels of grain it takes to buy one ton of fertilizer.

The ratio is calculated using the fertilizer price and the Chicago Board of Trade grain price. When the ratio is at or below the five year average, which is favorable, Sunrise will make a recommendation.

This strategy is backed by 20 years of data.
