National Ag Day: Food Brings Everyone to the Table

On Tuesday, March 23, 2021 Sunrise Cooperative, Inc. will join in the celebration for National Agriculture Day. The theme for the 48^th anniversary of National Day 2021 is “Food Brings Everyone to the Table.” The day is hosted by the Agriculture Council of America and Sunrise is proud to join in the celebration that takes place in classrooms, companies and communities across the country.
 
National Agriculture Day is a nationwide effort to tell the true story of American agriculture and it reminds us that agriculture is a part of all of us. We are so fortunate to have dedicated growers and producers who feed our nation.
 
This day encourages everyone to:

• Understand how food and fiber products are produced
• Appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant and affordable products
• Value the essential role agriculture in maintaining a strong economy
• Acknowledge and consider career opportunities in the agriculture, food and fiber industry
